From one unforgettable night to an annual FISIP UI tradition—a celebration that connects generations through creativity, knowledge, entertainment, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
Student Nite Festival (SNF) is an iconic music and youth culture festival of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia (FISIP UI), bringing together students, alumni, communities, emerging musicians, and national artists. The 2025 edition was held on November 2, 2025, at the FISIP UI campus in Depok, featuring three music stages, national artists, FISIP UI musicians, and community bands from across Greater Jakarta, with Idekami Communications contributing to the event’s organization and development in collaboration with FISIP UI stakeholders and its wider creative ecosystem.
The challenge was to transform a campus music festival into an event that remained relevant to Gen Z and students, while expanding its appeal beyond the FISIP UI community. The festival needed to create meaningful opportunities for emerging musicians, connect music communities across campuses, attract national artists as audience magnets, and deliver a memorable festival experience.
More than simply presenting a concert, the objective was to rebuild Student Nite as a distinctive festival brand—one that could revive its identity as an iconic FISIP UI music platform while creating a broader cultural ecosystem connecting students, communities, emerging talents, alumni, and the national music scene.
Idekami Communications developed SNF around the concept MUSIC × COMMUNITY × TALENT × EXPERIENCE, transforming the festival into an integrated music ecosystem. The program combined national artists, campus musicians, and emerging talents with a Campus Music Submission and Live Audition program, cross-campus music communities, and a three-stage festival experience supported by activities, bazaar, and audience interaction. This approach positioned SNF not simply as a concert, but as a platform for talent discovery, community connection, and youth culture.
The 2025 program featured major national artists including Kahitna, Ghea Indrawari, Barasuara, and Voice of Baceprot, serving as audience magnets while strengthening SNF’s broader festival positioning. At the same time, the Campus Music Submission attracted 30+ bands from universities across Greater Jakarta, Serang, and Bandung, with 10 selected bands advancing through the selection and live audition process to perform at the festival. The three-stage format further expanded the musical experience by providing diverse programming and greater opportunities for emerging musicians.
Idekami Communications contributed across the festival ecosystem, from event strategy, positioning, audience strategy, and program architecture to talent coordination, campus music submission, live audition, community engagement, production, stage and vendor management, communication, social media amplification, artist management, and on-ground operations. The audience journey was designed through DISCOVER → EXPERIENCE → CONNECT, turning the event into a cycle of Experience → Community → Content → Amplification, extending SNF’s impact beyond the festival day itself.
